Mary Helen Behrendsen's Obituary
Mary Helen Behrendsen, 92, former 30 year resident of New Haven, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at DeKalb Memorial Hospital, Auburn. Born in Bellevue, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Weber. She was a member of Pleasant Lake United Methodist Church, Pleasant Lake, Indiana. She was a secretary for Jack Payan Insurance in Chicago, IL and retired in 1985 from Kenneth Castor Insurance Agency, New Haven, Indiana after 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading and spending her time at her home on Lake James.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Sue Snyder of Toledo, OH and Sheree Behrendsen of Angola; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Behrendsen in 1999; two brothers; and grandson.
Services will be private. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Monroeville, Ohio. Preferred memorials are to Steuben County Humane Society.
