Marvis Dager's Obituary
Marvis Dager, 95, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. Born in Allen County, she was the daughter of late John and Alta (Chaussee) Miller. A homemaker for most of her life, she also worked at King’s Department Store, General Electric, and Modern Cleaners. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, and crocheted, and was also a member of the Happy Harmony Club.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edward; daughters, Ragene (Larry) Davies of Hoagland and Beverly (Gil) Johnson of Grabill; grandchildren, Bradley (Michelle) Davies, Kimberly (Kevin) DeWald, Brian (Meredith) and Steven Johnson; great grandchildren, Kameron, Kaden, and Kailey DeWald, Aria, Alyssa, and Madison Johnson; and step great grandchildren, Danielle, Stephanie, Nicholas, and Christopher Abouhalkah, and MariJoy, and Melyssa Seip. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Kreis.
Funeral service is 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling 1 ½ hours prior to service. Chaplain James Platner officiating. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Honor Flight Network.
