Martha Jean Long's Obituary
Martha Jean Long, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Bourneville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Friend) Kellough. She was a member of Woodburn Missionary Church. She worked at Blackwell’s Department Store in New Haven and retired from United Oil Corp in 1979. Martha loved to sew, garden, cook, and spend time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, James M. Long; children, James “Steve” (Ann) Long of Corunna, K. Diane (Dan) Grostefon and Rute Linda Wahli both of New Haven; grandchildren, Jessica (Ron) Bojrab, Damon (Jennifer) Muzzy, Heather (Jeff) Rolan, Ben (Tammy) Wahli, Terach (Mike) Hoeppner-Dick, Eliyahu (Jackie) Wahli, Dinah (Brett) Miller, Yahutsadak Q. (Michal) Wahli, Stephanie (Doug) Brock, and Jamie Long; and great grandchildren, Chelsey and Kevin Brock, Devin and Cheyenne Hoeppner, Justin McLauchlin, Caleb, Ethan, and Elisabeth Muzzy, Isaiah Bojrab, Baylor, Miles, and Nya Miller, Josephine, Hudson, Owen, and Elaina Wahli. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Bert Jones officiating. Visitation is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the church.
