Marla M. Marquardt's Obituary
Marla M. Marquardt, 56, died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She was pre-school teacher at the New Haven United Methodist Pre-school for many years. Nothing meant more to Marla than her family.
She is survived by her dedicated and loving husband of 35 years, Timothy; daughters, Melissa Marquardt of Indianapolis, and Emily (Jeremy) Blackman of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Lillian and Zachary; devoted parents, Erma & Richard Henderson of New Haven; sister, Corinne (Clark) Spurrier of New York, NY; two nephews; numerous loving aunts and cousins; and granddog, Maliki.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12 p.m. Noon, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to service. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating. In memory of Marla, her family would prefer memorials in lieu of flowers to the Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
