Mark Allen Goodspeed's Obituary
Mark Allen Goodspeed, 61, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 17, 2018 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Robert and Betty (Sorensen) Goodspeed. Before his retirement in 2016 he worked at Ceruti’s Catering and Hall’s Catering. He enjoyed building cornhole boards, a good game of cards, traveling and spending time with family and his wonderful friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kim (Heitkamp) Goodspeed; daughters, Michelle (Jon) Walma of LaPorte, and Myka (Eric) Fernandez of Fort Wayne; sisters, Teresa Wedler of Fort Wayne, and Cindy (Tom) Wolf of Hoagland; grandsons, Andrew and Avery Walma.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Chaplain Teresa Wedler, his sister, officiating. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to The American Diabetes Association and Conquer Chiari.
