Mark Joseph Franzen's Obituary
Mark Joseph Franzen, 61, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at home. Born in Le Mars, Iowa, he was the son of the late Merlin and Diane (Hilger) Franzen. He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ann Marie (Gordon) Franzen; children, Elizabeth, James, John, Margaret, and Joseph Franzen; and siblings, JoAnn Olson, Jane Franzen, Michael Franzen, Mary Franzen, Karen (Patrick) Crain, Tom (Angela) Franzen, and Teresa (Craig) Henriks. He was also preceded in death by brothers, James, David, and Steve Franzen.
Requiem Mass is 10 am Friday, March 27, 2026, at St John Fisher Catholic Church, 4800 S Calhoun St., Fort Wayne. Visitation is 4 to 7 pm Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary service at 7pm. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
