Mark Alan Ellsworth's Obituary
Mark Alan Ellsworth, 74, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Parker and Adra (Thiry) Ellsworth. He was a member of Taylor Chapel Ministries, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the Air National Guard and retired in 2021 from Kimball Electronics. He was an amateur radio enthusiast known by some as WA9SNV and volunteered at the Embassy Theatre.
He is survived by sons, Matthew, Nathan, and Jonathan Ellsworth; brother, Timothy Ellsworth; and grandson, Fitzgerald Ellsworth; He was also preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Viann in 2024; and sister, Marlene Ellsworth.
Funeral service is 5 pm Monday, February 24, 2025, at Taylor Chapel Ministries, 10145 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 1 to 4 pm Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the church.
