Marjorie Niemeyer's Obituary
Marjorie L. Niemeyer, 88, of New Haven, passed away January 1, 2011 at her home. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Howard O. and Esther L. Brudi Elson. Marjorie was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven and the LWR Quilters. She retired in 1985 from St. Joseph Hospital as a registered nurse in the preemie unit. She was a long-time supporter of the S.P.C.A.
She is survived by her sons: William H. (Barbara J.) Niemeyer of Brentwood, CA; David A. (Karen) Niemeyer of Flintwood, TN; grandsons: Kenneth W. Niemeyer of Concord, CA, William H. Niemeyer, II of Las Vegas, NV; great grandson, Aidan R. Niemeyer; sisters: Henrietta Vonderau of New Haven and JoAnn Smith of Atlanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert in 1985.
Memorial service is 1:30 P.M., Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, IN. Burial is in Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are to LWR Quilters. Arrangements are by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home 740 State Rd. 930 E., New Haven, IN.
