I remember from my childhood, the family took a trip from Michigan to Indiana to visit Marilyn and Paul. Marilyn was always kind and loving to myself and my siblings. Very fond memory. Tho, sadness will enter our hearts for awhile, my hope is that the good memories will fill us with joy and love for a very special spirit. Love always.
My thoughts & prayers go out to Cheri, Kip, Randy & Steve and all the grandchildren through this sad time. Hold on to the memories.

I remember when I came over to play with my best friend, Cheri, you were always sweet and happy and kind. You always asked about my family and how I was doing; I knew you really cared.You made me feel welcome and comfortable and a part of your household while I was there. I didn't have many friends and was very shy so this was so valuable to me. Thank you so much! I know you are with your husband and daughter, Brenda, now and in peace, surrounded in the love of God, no more illness or age. I know you will watch over Cheri and those other loved ones you have left behind.
I will never forget how you made me smile no matter what was going on in my life. I would take random trips to your house just to get away from what was going on at home. I loved talking to you for you had so many wise words for a young kiddo like me. From the first time I met you, I knew you were an amazing person that I should know. There was no doubt in my mind that you were one of the best neighbors that I would ever know. You took care of my runaway cat (I know you're laughing about that right now :D). Also, you and Paul took care of my brother and I when our grandpa had a massive heart attack on Easter Sunday 1997. Despite the heartache, you made us feel like family; like we belonged. That will forever be ingrained in my memory. No matter what, you were there to help us along our way. I am so grateful that you have been a part of my life. You mean the world to me. I will truly miss you but I know Paul has been missing you for a very long time. You guys were two peas in a pod. I love you both forever and always. Give a few hugs to Fetch for me!
I will always remember how you and Paul took my sister and I in during Easter when our grandpa had a heart attack in 1997. You made sure as kids that we had a great Easter. That was one of the greatest Easter's I can remember. You and Paul were truly what great neighbors are, and have left us far too soon. I love you both as family and will greatly miss you.
