Marilyn J. Glasscock's Obituary
Marilyn J. (Van Kirk) Glasscock, 85, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her home. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Zelda (Richhart) Van Kirk. She was a member of the New Haven United Methodist Church, New Haven where she volunteered in the church office. She enjoyed her family and Indiana University sports. She is survived by her children, Grant (Jill) Glasscock of Wabash, Susan (Tom) Bennett of Greenfield, and John (Olga) Glasscock of Bloomington; twin sister, Miriam Baker of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kirsten Bennett, Andrew Glasscock, and Chad Glasscock; great granddaughter, Addyson Ferrell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harold R. Glasscock; granddaughter, Abigail Bennett; sister, Nancy Smith. Memorial service is Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven with visitation two hours prior to service. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Preferred memorials are to the church.
