Margaret A. Spangler's Obituary
Margaret A. (Unsicker) Spangler, 86, of Monroeville, was called into her Heavenly home on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Golden Years Homestead, Fort Wayne. Born in South Bend, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma (Heuberger) Unsicker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and worked hard as a farmer's wife. Margaret was also a great Co-Pilot in N2687R. She attended Woodburn Missionary Church, where she participated in Bible studies and volunteered in the nursery and in the kitchen. She was also a member of the Country Neighbors Homemakers Club with the Allen County Extension Office. She loved God, her family, friends, and neighbors. She enjoyed gardening, baking, writing letters of encouragement, scrapbooking, eating Mexican food, and watching men's college basketball, especially IU. Her servant's heart and listening ear will be missed by all who knew her. She was a model example of how to encourage others and love people.
