Margaret A. Kuhn's Obituary
Margaret Alice Parquet Bloomfield Kuhn, 79, of New Haven, passed away peacefully with her devoted family by her side on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Margie was born in Fort Wayne on June 10, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Vincent Parquet, Alice (Bowser) and Amos Bloomfield. Margie was a wonderful, loving, beautiful, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was always available to help anyone in need and was kindhearted and generous. She was a devout Catholic, her religion was an integral part of her life. St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven was her spiritual home. Margie's career spanned decades in the service industry, and she owned both 4 Mile House, New Haven, and The Ruff House, Grabill. Her natural talent for creating delicious homemade meals was enjoyed by many loyal customers through the years as well as her family and friends. Margie's quick wit and warm smile was infectious, she was a beautiful loving soul. She will be deeply and forever missed by all that knew and loved her, never to be forgotten.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Frank "Pete" Kuhn; children, Lisa Butcher, Susan (Jerry Jr) Feasby, and Marlene (Adam) Coleman; siblings, Bill Bloomfield, Jim (Pat) Bloomfield, Jack (Diana) Bloomfield, and Anne (Nick) Afragola; grandchildren, Paul Ratledge, Shelby (Veronica) Landis, Joe (Amy Parsons), Tiffany, and Danielle Scheid, Aaron Michael Kuhn, Nevaeh and Jarod (Bobbi Elston) Feasby; and great grandchildren, Amelia, Atlas, Sydnie, Ryatt, Chase, Luke, Alana, Noelle, Jaxon, Jakob, Bexley and Brady. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle "Missy" Scheid-Bell.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2023, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a vigil at 1 p.m. Burial in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
