Margaret "Ann" Herman's Obituary
Margaret "Ann" (Hunt) Herman, 79, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 in her home with her family by her side. Born in Columbus, IN she was the daughter of the late Leon and Madge (Cole) Hunt and was the oldest of five siblings. Ann was a 1960 graduate of New Haven High School. She spent the majority of her life in Fort Wayne, loved to travel, and was always up for an adventure. She was a realtor for over 20 years, a career she felt was a true calling. Ann had a passion for antiques, going to the lake and reading. She also enjoyed volunteering at Wellspring Food Bank and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Edward; children, Pam Herman, Jennifer (Rick) Hoffman, Jeffrey (Karla) Herman, Kristina (Jeffrey) Fraser, Sarah (John) Martin; brothers, Timothy (Barbara) Hunt and Joseph (Andrea) Hunt; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Hunt and Sally Wehnert. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Friday, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitations one hour prior to service. Visitation is also 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Emanuel Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Wellspring Food Bank, Fort Wayne.
