Margaret A. Burns' Obituary
Margaret A. Burns, 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Veronica (Bahlinger) Martin. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, and loved following IU Basketball.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Burns of New Haven and Kevin (Julie) Burns of Glenville, NC; siblings, James (Rose) Martin of Fredonia, KY and Marilyn Carsten of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Christian Burns, Michelle Burris, Matt Schane, Jami Burns, and Andrea Parker; and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William in 2009; daughter, Sheryl Schane in 2010; and sister, Geneva Johns.
Family to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice.
