Margaret Braun's Obituary
Margaret Braun, 93, of New Haven died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Ashton Creek Health & Rehab, Fort Wayne. Born in Sikeston, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Issic and Lola Rupel. She was a former member of St. James Lutheran Church and attended Wallen Baptist Church Fort Wayne. She retired from East Allen County School in 1978 and had previously worked at General Electric Corp. for 10 years. She enjoyed many years of bridal sewing.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Joy) Hey of Albion, Mike (Sytha) Hey of Fort Wayne, Marilyn Burnett of Union City, Eli Suciu of CT, and John (Amy) Suciu of Leo; step-children, David (Deb) Braun and Doug (Cheri) Braun both of Fort Wayne, Dolores (Greg) Roth, Denise (Mark) Tilley, Donita (Pat Russell) Kline, and Dinah Braun all of New Haven; 27 grandchildren; and 40 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Karl Hey, John Suciu, and Richard Braun; and granddaughter, Jennifer Braun and nine siblings .
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Pastor Jim Glover officiating. Calling is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to Wallen Baptist Church, Fort Wayne.
