Marcella J. Paschka's Obituary
Marcella J. Paschka, 88, died Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Alvina Heine. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne. She married Theodore R. Paschka August 26, 1950 and he preceded her in death August 28, 2012.
Marcella had a love of sewing and quilting, which she learned from her grandmother, Mailand. She enjoyed baking coffee cakes and pies as well as playing cards with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Gene (Joyce) Paschka of Ft. Wayne; brother, Gaylord (Myla) Heine of New Haven and sister, Phyllis (Harold) Schamerloh of Decatur. She was also preceded by a son, Stanley Paschka and sister, Eunice Bienz..
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 7710 E. State Blvd., Fort Wayne with calling two hour before the service. The Rev. Steve Ahlersmeyer officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Arrangements by E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven.
