Mack Campbell, Jr.'s Obituary
Mack Campbell, Jr., 98, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Perry County, Ky., he was the son of the late Mack and Susan (Campbell) Campbell, Sr. He was a member of Maples United Methodist Church, Maples. A career baker, he started at Strietmann's Biscuit Company in Cincinnati where he worked for 13 years and retired in 1989 from Sunbeam Bakery with over 20 years. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Professional Bowlers Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a "tree surgeon" for the Cincinnati Parks.
He is survived by his children, Laura Pierce, Mack (JeanAnn) Campbell, Susan (William) Schnelker, and Paul (Stephanie) Campbell; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and several great great and great great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Della in 2018; children, Gean, Barb, Eddi, and Faye; eight siblings; grandson, Steven Tieman; great grandson, Rocky; and great great granddaughter, Scarlet.
Funeral service is 1 pm. Monday, July 14, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home. 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior to service (11 to 1).
