Lynn Patrick Cummings' Obituary
Lynn Patrick "Pat" Cummings, 75, passed from this life to eternity to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Pat was born on April 11, 1948, to the late Charles and Betty (Moore) Cummings at Walworth County Hospital, Elkhorn, WI. He married the love of his life, Mary (Alsept) Cummings, and they were married for 58 years. They loved each other dearly and were constant companions throughout their lives. Pat was a faithful Christian who enjoyed his grandchildren, great grandchildren, cars, fishing, and watching the Weather Channel. He is survived by his children: Kimberly (Dan) Gossard, Harrod, OH; Patricia (David) Rousculp, New Haven, IN; Charles (Tammy) Cummings, Fort Jennings, OH; Michael Cummings, Lima, OH; Brian (Tina) Cummings, Wapakoneta, OH; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Betty Oen; and his siblings, Holly Cummings, Richard (Donna) Cummings, Connie Cummings, Chris (Rob) Schweiger, Neal (Vicky) Cummings, Mary (Steve) Hallard, Barb (Paul) Fredericks, and Paul Cummings. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Mary, who passed away on September 19th, 2023; a brother, Donald Cummings; and a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Oen in August 2023. Funeral Service is 7 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven, with visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to service. The service will be live streamed at https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/lynn-patrick-cummings. Graveside service is 10 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Salem Cemetery, 4455 Bowdle Rd., Harrod, OH. Arrangements entrusted to his son-in-law, David Rousculp at Harper’s Community Funeral Home.
