Luella B. Magner's Obituary
Luella B. "Lu" Magner, 88, of New Haven, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at
Parkview Hospital. Born in New Bavaria, OH, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Frances Wilhelm. She was a longtime active member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven.
Lu was an avid bowler and loved playing cards with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Frank; children: Colleen Fuelling of New Haven, James (Joyce) Magner of Fort Wayne, Steve (Sue) Magner of New Haven, Carol (Dan) Barthold of Fort Wayne and Mike Magner of New Haven; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters: Esther Feffer and Susanne Wisniewski. She was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Lemons; grandson, Kenneth Norton; 6 brothers; and 4 sisters.
Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Road 930 E., New Haven. The Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Calling is also 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Louis Academy.
