Luella M. Dammeyer's Obituary
Luella M. Dammeyer, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Lutheran Life Village, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne she was the daughter of the late Martin and Amelia Bleke. She was a member of Trinity Suburban Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne and the Ladies Aid. She was the first manager at Concord Village and retired after 20 years of service.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Keyth) Price of Ossian, Doris (Robert) Alexander of San Francisco, CA, Karen (Darwin) Blank of Madison, NE, Donna (Gil) Thiede of Grafton, WI; and grandchildren, Karla, Joel, Erica, Eric, and Karissa. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Elmer Dammeyer in 2007.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Trinity Suburban Lutheran Church, 7821 Decatur Rd., Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Greg Cynova officiating. Calling is also 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Trinity Suburban Lutheran Church or Lutheran Life Village.
