Hazelett Family,
We all have special, significant people that make an impact on us as we walk down this road called life. They are the people along that pathway that we will never forget. I am so glad that Lucile was one of those people along my path. What a great contribution to my childhood growing up and spending my days in her home. What a rush of great childhood memories of neighbors, coffee breaks, bike parades, and pancakes have come back to me. I was saddened to hear of her passing when mom called to tell me Monday afternoon. I don't know that I will be able to make it back to Indiana for the service, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Gary
I have such wonderful memories from childhood that Lucille was a part of. Loved going to her house for coffee break and playing colored eggs on the front porch with the gang. She always had the best snacks, still love windmill cookies and what her cookie jar looked like! When I think of all the time we kids spent playing b-ball and skateboarding on the "one and only cement driveway" in the neighborhood,I sure can appreciate all of the time she spent and scraped knees she took care of. She also taught me not to be scared of that giant dog Deno, and how to walk through the back yard to Jill's without risking life and limb! Will sure miss her. My prayers are with you all. Deedee
