Louise "Weezy" Pierce's Obituary
Louise M. "Weezy" Pierce, 65, of Hoagland, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Wheaton, IL she was the daughter of the late John and Lucille Gangestad. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. She was a manager for various credit unions in the Ft. Wayne area and recently retired from Walgreens, New Haven. She had a passion and love for flowers and pets. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Dahlon "Dale" Pierce, son, Chuck Jacobson of San Diego, CA, daughter, Kim Wetoskey of New Haven, and grandchildren, Alexis and Taylor Wetoskey of New Haven. She was also preceded in death by her brother Glen Gangestad.
Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling hours 3 hours prior. Pastor David O. Stecker officiating. Preferred memorials are to the Humane Society, Fort Wayne. To share online condolences go to www.harperfuneralhome.com.
