Louise Pauline Hockemeyer's Obituary
Louise Pauline Hockemeyer, 94, entered into heavenly rest, Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Adam’s Heritage, Monroeville. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Salomon) Kramer. Louise was baptized, confirmed, and married at Saint Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. She married Ross Hockemeyer on September 7, 1946, becoming a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek. She is lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends, even as she is reunited with loved ones in heaven.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Jane) Hockemeyer of New Haven, Jean (Rev. Robert) Graul of Cohasset, MN, Linda Messmann of Fort Wayne, and Joan (Dr. Timothy) Sipe of Lititz, PA; 12 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ross in 2001; siblings, Edward Kramer, Arnold Kramer, and Dorothy Kuehnert; and son-in-law, Grant Messmann.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek, 1910 N. Berthaud Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Michael Blodgett officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to St. Paul Lutheran Church – Gar Creek, Concordia Lutheran High School, or Concordia Theological Seminary.
