Lorna C. Brenneke's Obituary
Lorna C. Brenneke, 90, of Woodburn died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Woodburn, she was the daughter of the late Audolph and Emma Weber. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Woodburn. She retired in 1993 from Maumee Valley Seed after 14 years of service.
She is survived by her children, Judy (George) Elkins of St. George, UT, Barbara Jane (Roger "Buck") Ehle of Harlan, and Tom (Marla) Brenneke of New Haven; brothers, Rev. Paul Weber of Napoleon, OH, Rev. Robert (Thea) Weber of Vancouver, WA, and William (Mary Ann) Weber of Fort Wayne, grandchildren, Dr. Christopher (Linda) Elkins of Redwood City, CA, Stefanie (Hiro Notaney) Elkins of Palo Alto, CA, Austin (Erika) Ehle of Mt. Pulaski, IL, and Alexandra (Phil) Russell of Decatur, IL; five great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold D. Brenneke in 1999; and sister, Thelma Lowden.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church, 7616 Bull Rapids Rd., Woodburn with calling one hour prior to service. Rev. Lewis Stier officiating. Calling is also 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church or Billy Graham Ministries.
