Loraine R. Brenneke's Obituary
Loraine R. Brenneke, 93, of Woodburn, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Kingston at Dupont, Fort Wayne. Born in Corunna, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Florence (Lacey) Rohm. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn. She and her husband were the former owners of Norm’s Family Center, Woodburn, retiring in 1989.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Karen) Brenneke of Lexington, SC, N. Kent (Jane) Brenneke and Lisa (Gary) Smith both of Woodburn, and Sandra Hunter of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Ruth Hanenkratt of Monticello; ten grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman in 2005; brother, Marion Rohm; son-in-law, Gary Hunter.
Funeral service is Saturday at 12 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St., Woodburn with calling two hours prior to service. Pastor Tim Edwards officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Christ Lutheran Church or Woodburn Lutheran School.
