Lois M. Miller's Obituary
Lois M. Miller, 91, of New Haven, died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at home. Born in Haviland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Maye Cryer. She was a very active member of New Haven United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her 26 years serving students in the cafeteria for East Allen County Schools before retiring in 1982.
She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Rodgers of Van Wert, OH and Mary Manship of Columbus, OH; step-in-daughter, Trish (Denny) Sheets of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Donna (Leo) Hayes of Melbourne, FL, Tahnee (Drew) Meredith, Eric (Katia) Miller, and Tim (Ramona) Hayes; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Miller in 1990; children, Shirley Hayes in 1994 and Donald O. Miller in 2008; and siblings, Duane Cryer, Howard Cryer, Sharon Hoffhines, Russell Cryer, and Raymond Cryer.
Funeral service is 3 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2011 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to service. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to New Haven United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
