Lois L. Jackson's Obituary
Lois J. Jackson, 81, passed away on May 2, 2012. Born in Fort Wayne in 1930, she graduated from South Side High School in 1948. Shortly thereafter she married Carl Jackson who preceded her in death in 1972. Lois loved to read, often finishing an entire book in a single day. She also enjoyed her dogs, raising and showing champion chihuahuas. Lois is survived by a son, Steve (Maria) Jackson of Fort Wayne, a daughter Diane (Larry) Goodman of Kenosha, WI, daughter, Karen (Frank) Kimbrough of Fort Wayne, sister Betty(Alfred) Rasp of Olympia, WA. and three grandchildren. Private services were held at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Anthony Wayne Rotary Charitable Foundation, Inc. 111 East Wayne St Suite #800, Fort Wayne, IN, 46802 to further the foundation's charitable efforts to bring dictionaries and encyclopedias to underprivileged children.
