Linda Lou Dager's Obituary
Linda Lou Dager, 78, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born in Wabash, she was the daughter of the late Myrl and Helen (Porter) Gamble. She was a member of Wabash Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star, Delta Theta Tau Sorority, and the Red Hatters at Pine Island, Florida. She was a disc jockey for WARU, Wabash right out of high school and also announced the baseball games. She retired from Crumback Chevrolet and also worked for the family business, Monarch Decorating. Linda was huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Jr., the Indianapolis Colts, and Notre Dame Football.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gerald (Jerry); children, Deborah (Richard) McCormick of West Lafayette, Tracy Gaunt of North Webster, Kerry (Laura) Dager and Matthew (Janice) Dager both of Leo, Christopher Dager of New Haven, and David Dager of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Thomas (Joyce) Gamble of Greenfield; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren with two on the way.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor John P. Dimarzio Sr. officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the funeral home with an Eastern Star service at 6 p.m. Burial in I.O.O.F Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Parkview Home Health and Hospice or the Honor Flight.
