Leonard "Lenny" Felger III's Obituary
Leonard Claude “Lenny” Felger III, 45, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a supervisor at Fort Wayne Metals for 11 years. An avid lover of sports, he enjoyed coaching baseball, basketball, and flag football. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys, University of Michigan Wolverines, St. Louis Cardinals, and the LA Lakers. He also loved spending time with his family on their favorite beach in Pensacola, Florida.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Jackie (DeLong) Felger; sons, Caleb, Cyrus, Riley, and Trevin Felger at home; parents, Leonard Felger Jr of Fort Wayne and Kris (Rod) Green of Crossville, TN; brother, James Felger of Fort Wayne; grandfather, Leonard Felger Sr of Avilla; and in-laws, Jack and Dianne DeLong of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward Jarboe on August 8, 2018, Daulee Jarboe, and Patricia Felger.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Lance Stiver officiating. Visitation is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to an Education Fund for the boys, c/o Jackie Felger.
