Dr. Leland T. (Doc) Pollock's Obituary
Dr. Leland T. "Doc" Pollock, 97, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, February 21, 2014, Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehab, Fort Wayne. Born in Kendallville, he was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. Leland served his country in the Army Air Corp during WWll, and practiced chiropractic medicine for over 50 years at Pollock Chiropractic Clinic, New Haven. He was a member of American Legion Post 330, New Haven.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Martin and Shannon (Tim) Lawrence both of Fort Wayne and Stephanie (Doug) Brock of Woodburn; and great grandchildren, Chelsey, Kevin, Jenna, Nikolas, Ty, and Avery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Aileen Pollock in 2011, his daughters, Patricia Lee Pollock and Jeannie Laura Long.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor David Stecker officiating. Calling is also 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 State Rd. 930 East, New Haven. Burial with military honors is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
