Lawrence L. Stratmeier's Obituary
Lawrence "Joe" Stratmeier, 85, of New Haven, passed away August 3, 2014 at Genesis Healthcare, New Haven. Born in Woodburn, he was the son of the late Herman and Easter Stratmeier. He worked as a carpenter for 16 years at the former Woodburn Lumber Company, then retiring in 1992 from BF Goodrich after 28 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Sue (Pat) Molitor of Antwerp, Ohio, Debby (Mike) Morrow of Treasure Island, FL, and Peggy (John) Bennett of New Haven; seven grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Ester in March 2014; brother, Willard; sister, Evelyn; and grandchildren, Mike Smith and Katrina Bennett.
