Lawrence "John" Kroterfield's Obituary
Lawrence “John” Kroterfield, 51, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, unexpectedly. Born in Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Sally (Evans) Kroterfield. He worked in the oncology department at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He enjoyed bowling, golf, camping, and playing cards. He especially loved spending time with his children; Dava and Ross Kroterfield. He is also survived by his ex-wife & friend, Debbie Kroterfield; mother-in-law, Connie Poppele; uncle, Jim “Satch” (Pam) Moore; brother-in-law, Chris (Ruth) Poppele; nephew, Jacob Poppele; twin nieces, Jenna and Josie Poppele. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, David Poppele; brother, David Lough. A Celebration of Life is Friday, December 3, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Riley’s Children Hospital and Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
