Larry W. Nahrwold's Obituary
Larry W. Nahrwold, 63, of New Haven, died Monday, May 9, 2011. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Elmer and Bertha (Schmidt) Nahrwold. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. The lifelong farmer was a member serving on the board of directors for the Maumee Valley Steam & Gas Engine Association.
He is survived by his brother, James L. Nahrwold of New Haven; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Fred, Elmer Jr., and Donald Nahrwold.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Paul Shoemaker officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial is in the church cemetery. Preferred memorials are to Central Lutheran School.
