Larry Wayne Stoppenhagen's Obituary
Larry Wayne Stoppenhagen, 80, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at home with his family by his side. Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Margaret (Baker) Stoppenhagen. He was a member of First Missionary Church, Fort Wayne. He was employed with General Electric for many years. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and traveling with his wife. He loved the Lord and served in his church.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elaine; daughters, Kristine (David) Botas and Lisa (Ed) Oschmann; and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Stoppenhagen in 2022.
Funeral service is 1 pm Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at First Missionary Church, 701 W. Rudisill Blvd, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior (10:30 am to 1 pm).
