Mr. Larry Neeley's Obituary
Larry R. Neeley, 69, of Portland, formerly of New Haven, died Sunday, December 12, 2010, at Jay County Hospital, Portland. Born in Lima, Ohio he was the son of the late Everet and Crystal Neeley. He retired in 2002 from Nucor Building Systems after 11 years. The US Army veteran was a member of American Legion Post #211, and GWRRA Chapter T, both of Portland.
He is survived by his children, Rick Neeley of Douglasville, GA, Bradley Neeley of Columbus, GA, and Lori and Brad Brooke of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Ashley, Shelby, and Matthew; life partner, Ruby Morehous of Portland; and her family, Eric (Staci), Toby (Heather), and Adam (Katrina) Morehous all of Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Neeley in 2001.
Service is 1 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service. Pastor Brian Clay officiating. Burial in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA. Preferred memorials are to the D.A.V.
