Larry Lee Moehring's Obituary
Larry Lee Moehring, 72, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at home. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Carl and Madge Moehring. He was employed at Pinkerton Security and Patrol for 12 years and loved NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his children, Jeff (Josi) Michael of Venice, FL and Vicki (James) Brown of Fort Wayne; step-daughter, Tam (Frank) Fore of Fort Wayne; siblings, Judy (Dennis) Hieber of Orland, Roger (Lois) Moehring of Kimmel, and Rex (Carol) Moehring of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 11 step-great grandchildren; and his trusted canine companion, Fred. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Moehring; and brother, Donald Moehring.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor David Taylor officiating. Calling is also 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
