Kristin L. Thiele's Obituary
Kristin L. Thiele, 39, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne after a four year battle with cancer. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Gar Creek, New Haven. She was a graduate of Woodlan High School, IPFW, and completed her Masters at Ball State University. She was a teacher for Northwest Allen County Schools. Kristin's passion was her children, and she loved spending time with her family.
Kristin is survived by her husband, Randy; children, Gwyneth and Sawyer at home; parents, Jim and Linda Miller of Fremont; brother, Scott (Sara) Miller of Angola; and grandmother, Thelma Hirsch of Grabill.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Gar Creek, 1910 N. Berthaud Rd., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Rev. Michael Blodgett officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Fort Wayne. As a tribute to Kristin, and in lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to children's educational funds, c/o Randy Thiele.
