Kenneth Lee Peterson's Obituary
Kenneth Lee Peterson, 82, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Warsaw, he was the son of the late George and Gerry (Tucker) Peterson. He was a member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church, Fort Wayne. He served his country in the US Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Post 330. He retired in 2002 from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #305. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed golfing, coaching little league, IU Basketball and never missed one of his grandchildren's games. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy; children, Wendy (Bret) Lyons and Darren (Ronda Topper) Peterson both of New Haven, David (Trena) Peterson of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Peterson. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Lifeway Wesleyan Church, 7722 Moeller Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Entombment is 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne with military honors and will be streamed live on Harper's Community Funeral Home Facebook page.
