Kathryn "Katie" Wetoskey's Obituary
Kathryn “Katie” B. Wetoskey, 91, of New Haven, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Park Place Senior Living, Fort Wayne. Born in St. Joe, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mary (Linley) Likes. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She enjoyed working in the yard, flower arranging, and card club. Katie especially enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Karen (Bill) Sinish, Sandra Bennett, Gary (Nancy) Wetoskey, Rhonda (Scott Fackler) Jump, Wanda (Larry) Knueve, and Carl Wetoskey; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Carl Wetoskey in 2020; siblings, Mary “Ginny” Congelton, Juanita Baughman, Barbara Savage, Carol Schuchart, and DeWayne Likes. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 St Rd 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (Noon to 2 p.m.). Pastor Phil Borjas Officiating. Burial in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Eleos Hospice Care, Fort Wayne and Alzheimer’s Association.
