Kathryn Ellen Lazenby's Obituary
Kathryn "Ellen" Lazenby, 93, of New Haven, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Chateau Rehabilitation and Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Oakwood, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles and Edna (Wagner) Kohart. She was an active member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting and was a member of the Gar Creek Quilting Club.
She is survived by her sons, Edward (Carol) Lazenby of Napoleon, Ohio and Rob (Linda) Ritz of New Haven. Sisters, Carol (Ron) Chesser of Fort Wayne and Sara (Tom) Larson; grandchildren, Jamie Halley, Jen Lazenby; and great grandchildren, Aurora Halley and Alec Halley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Orville; children, Michael and Laura Lazenby; and brother, Chuck Kohart.
Funeral service is 11 am Monday, July 28, 2025, at St. James Lutheran Church, 1720 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation two hours prior (9-11). Burial in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic, Ohio.
