Katherine "Katie" Ann (Keim) Wolf's Obituary
Katherine "Katie" Ann (Keim) Wolf, 80, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born in Paulding, Ohio September 20, 1933 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth Keim. She was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church. Katie became the beloved wife of Ned Ellis Wolf, who survives, in 1952 where they met at Hardware Wholesalers Inc. She continued to work for several years, before committing to being a full time mother and homemaker. Nothing thrilled her more than to see her children, their spouses and grandchildren enjoying each other at their lake home at Lake James, Indiana. Her hobbies included investing in the stock market, having coffee with her friends and being a grandmother.
She is also survived by her sons, Ned Allen (Jane) Wolf of Lincolnton, NC and Scott Brian (Dawn) Wolf of New Haven; grandchildren, Brennan Lee, Thomas Scott, Morgan Elizabeth and Dylan Scott; brother-in-law, Don (Ginny) Wolf; sister-in-law, Maxine VanHorn; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Eiserle; and granddaughter, Alexa Jo Wolf.
Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E., New Haven with calling one hour prior. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to The Salvation Army, 427 West Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
