Junior Lee Madden's Obituary
Junior L. Madden, 95, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Butler, IN he was the son of the late Harlan and Thelma (Darling) Madden. He was a machinist at Zollner Pistons, Fort Wayne for over 45 years and retired in 1989. He proudly served his country during WW II in the U.S. Navy. Junior was a past member of the Lions Club, Harlan. He enjoyed woodworking and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his daughters Diana Rumsey of Orland, Christina Vardaman of Woodburn, Marcia (Donald) Smith of Maui, HI; sons Roger (Maureen) Madden of Laotto, Mark (Meg) Madden of Yoder; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Helen Maxine Madden; Funeral service is private. Burial in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan. In lieu of flowers preferred memorials to Harlan United Methodist Church and Harlan Christian Youth Center.
