Judith “Judy” L. Lake, 71, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marion (Miller) Schaefer. She at Read Obituary
Chuck, you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your lovely wife Judy. I am sorry I never got to know her well. It is with regret that I will not be able to see you at this sad time in the life of your family but I will be thinking of all of you. Toni Lake Bosserman.
Our deepest of sympathies are given to Chuck , Valerie and Brian and their families. Words cannot begin to express our sadness at the hearing of her passing. What a grand and elegant lady Judy was. Before we married in 2004 my husband Jerry worked with her at the Fort Wayne International Airport as a volunteer Greeter and ‘Cookie Man’. Judys approval of him helped me to eventually say, ‘yes’ to his proposal.
Judy and I worked side by side from 1987-1992 when her son Brian and my son Tom attending Croninger Elementary were in Den 2 of Pack 3430 Faith Baptist Church. She was a great child psychologist and mentor and her knowledge of child behavior was invaluable to me. I have many fond memories of shenanigans and funny good times with her. I will miss her dearly.
