Judith R. (Hartman) Rothgeb's Obituary
Judith R. (Hartman) Rothgeb, 72, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Kingston Healthcare, Fort Wayne. Born in Harlan, she was the daughter of the late Welmer "Whitey" and Laura Alfeld. She was a member of St. Joe United Methodist Church. She retired from Lutheran Hospital in 1998 after 40 years as a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Howard Rothgeb; sons, Scott (Jen) Hartman of New York, Steven (Pet) Hartman of Morganville, NJ, Craig (Marcella) Hartman of Sydney, Australia, Todd (Shelly) Hartman of Fishers; brother: Jim (Becky) Alfeld of Glendale, AZ; sister: Barbara (Mike) Webster of Las Vegas, NV: step-sons: Christopher (Shelley) Rothgeb of Phoenix, Az and Kevin (Jodi) Rothgeb of Grand Rapids, MI; 17 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Stan and Larry Alfeld.
Funeral service is 10 a.m., Wed., February 20, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tues. Feb. 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Pastor Ron Verlee officiating. Burial is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Turnstone (turnstone.org) .
