Joy L. McCombs' Obituary
Joy Lynette McCombs, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Visiting Nurse, Fort Wayne. She was a very involved member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodburn and loved taking the church ladies on driving adventures. She has been the owner and operator of RJM Transport, Woodburn since 1991. She enjoyed her flower garden and loved her dogs, cat, Christmas, and most of all her family. She said, "I am so thankful for my husband, who cared for me until the end." She is survived her husband of 36 years, Randy; mother, Marian Kuehnert of Woodburn; siblings, Steve (Deb) Kuehnert of Woodburn, Sherry (Greg) Berry of Middlebury, Jan Kuehnert of Waynedale, and Jill (Mark) Coleman of Bradenton, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Kuehnert. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church, 4412 Park St, Woodburn with visitation one hour prior. Visitations also from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery.
