John C. Schnelker's Obituary
John C. Schnelker, 63, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. He was the son of the late John and Hilda Schnelker, and a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. John was co-owner of L & S Alignment & Tune-up since 1972. He served his country in U.S. Air Force, and was a member of the Allen Co. Coon Hunters Assoc.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Maria; sons: Stephen (Heather) Schnelker of Pittsburgh, PA, Thomas Schnelker of Fort Wayne; daughter, Lisa Hill of Fort Wayne; siblings: Ken (Suzie) Schnelker of New Haven, Judy Feichter of Fort Wayne; and three grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Father James Seculoff officiating. Calling is from 1 to 3 and 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with a rosary recited at 3:00 P.M. Burial is in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
