John Kaehr Heyerly's Obituary
John Kaehr Heyerly, 83, of New Haven, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. Born in Bluffton, he was the son of the late Elmer and Frieda (Kaehr) Heyerly. He retired in 2001 from HWI/Do-It-Best after 34 years. He enjoyed spending his winters in Florida and was passionate about his landscaping. He loved socializing and was known for being the life of the party.
He is survived by his siblings, Becky (Bob) Durbin, Sam Heyerly, and Dave (Jeanne) Heyerly; six nephews; and five nieces. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Holman and Shirley "Kay" Schladenhauffen.
Funeral service is 11 am Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
