Joan Fredrickson's Obituary
Joan Fredrickson, 87, died Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hamilton House, Fort Wayne. Born in Ossian, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Summers. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Fort Wayne. She retired in 1983 from Lincoln National Life with over 25 years of service. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and also Lincoln Links.
Joan is survived by her son, David (Cathy) Fredrickson of New Haven; grandchildren, Ryan (fiancé Tegan) Fredrickson, Karrie (Brad) Steenport, and Drew Fredrickson all of Fort Wayne; great granddaughter, Emery Steenport; and step-brother, Jerry (Charlene) Hall of Witmer Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1961
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with calling two hours prior. Chaplain K.C. Klarner officiating. Burial in Poe Williamsport Cemetery, Poe. Preferred memorials are to Heartland Hospice or Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
