Jewel "JJ" Genene Jett's Obituary
Jewel "JJ" Genene Jett, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born on April 28, 1941, in Algood, TN, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Maud (Greene) Fleming. She has worked for Brunswick Fort Wayne Operations for 31 years. A New England Patriots fan, she also enjoyed gambling and helping people in need.
She is survived by her children, Melody Bishop and Victor Taflinger; grandchildren, Niki Clark, Ashley Chase, Robert, Harry, Kenny, Ion, and Mieka Taflinger; nine great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her husband of Bruce "BR" Jett in 2009; and son Robert Taflinger.
