Jessie C. Rocha's Obituary
Jessie C. Rocha, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at home with her family by her side. Born in Sylvania, Ohio to the late Marcell and Concepcion (Medrano) Contraras. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. She retired in 2007 from Jerry's Used Appliances after 30 years. Jessie enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. She especially loved her many friends and family members who lived both near and far. She is survived by her children, Linda (Paul) Mayes, Yolanda (Terry) Tomei, and Timoteo Rocha, Sr.; sisters, Emma, and Marcella; grandchildren, Renee Mowery, William Tomei, Miranda Tomei, Michael Mayes, Jessica (Justin) King, Jerry Rocha, and Tim "Timmy" Rocha, Jr.; and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Geronimo "Jerry"; son, Jerry Rocha; and grandson, Terry Tomei, Jr. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Have. Preferred memorials are to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven.
